TAKING CARE OF YOUR FACE

With so many skin disorders that can affect your face, here are some important tips on taking care of your face the right way.

Most people are extremely self-conscious when they have a pimple or blemish on their face.  Many people are constantly looking at our faces each day and it only takes one pimple to make us feel insecure.  The good news is that there are many ways to take care of your face to minimize the breakouts and to rid your face of pimples that do show up.

One of the easiest ways to take care of your face is to make sure you thoroughly wash your face twice a day.  It is not necessary to wash more than twice a day, unless you somehow got it dirty, but washing your face once in the morning and once before sleeping is usually all it takes.

When washing your face never scrub your face, you can damage or irritate your skin and even spread pimple causing bacteria all around your face.  Use an antibacterial soap or a soap that works well with your complexion and wash it with warm water.  Hot water can scold and harm your face.  It is also a good tip to use a soft, gentle cloth to minimize abrasions.

A healthy diet can also help.  You need lots of vitamins such as vitamin A and D to have a great glowing complexion.  It is also extremely important that your skin is well hydrated.  Make sure you drink about 8 - 8 oz  glasses of water daily.  Following these tips to care of your face will usually help you improve your complexion and lessen the amount of pimples on your face.
